1.) What is the Eco-Olympics?

The Eco-Olympics is a waste, water and energy reduction competition between first year dormitories.

The competition lasts three weeks from Monday February 7th - Monday February 28th, during which students from each of the seven first year residential halls (Curtis, East, West, Stillman, Andrews, Gate House and 110 Broad) will compete and participate in various educational events sponsored by the Sustainability Office in addition to lowering their energy usage and waste production.

When students participate in an event, they earn points for their dorm and have the chance to win awesome prizes themselves.

The dorm that wins the most dorm vs dorm competitions will receive a trophy to get kept in their dorm and be crowned Colgate 1st Ever Eco-Olympics Champions at a dessert party!
